My interpretation of the song:
The post-Christian worldview means that subjugating others is perfectly legitimate. This song can have many meanings, but in particular the lyrics should remind us that we are all subjects to a higher power, whether it be "God" or man. I heard this song 10 years ago and it helped me realize even though we are in control of our minds we are not in control of our lives. Unseen forces dictate the direction or our lives. What we see, what we hear, and what we say for example. To be unhealthy, ignorant, complacent, and entertained is how those in control want us to be. SO why not discover some of the truth for yourselves?
